Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Employment Type: Contract - Days & Night Shifts Needed

Compensation

Pay Range: $49.98-$71.40 Per HR

Description

We are seeking a skilled professional for a contract position as a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care.
This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and requires flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care settings and be proficient with relevant healthcare technologies.

Requirements

BSN prepared with 3-5 years of experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center.
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Ability to operate medical equipment related to critical care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
Commitment to continuous professional development.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license.
Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), vent/tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes.
Competence in medication titration and arterial line management.
Certification in AHA Stroke is required.
Preferred certifications include CRRT, CCRN, TCRN.
